Homemade Cannon

I use black powder and fuse only, and the 'most fun charge' is one ounce of ffg black, and a twelve ounce sinker with wads. So far, the furthest it has fired at the range out in the desert where you can see the dust, is around 800 yards, but I didn't have the barrel pointed that far up for elevation!! Golf balls are fun, using fffg black, they really sail! My best guess is around 400 yards. Too much powder and the golf balls blow up!!
